2005 World Organic Wine and Viticulture Conference
High Merit Award
The Food Forest has won a High Merit Award, the highest award given at the recent judging of organic wines in association with the World Organic Wine and Viticulture Conference in Adelaide.
The wine is the 2004 Jelly Palm Liqueur... described by the judges as 'Out of the box! Luscious, sweet and with lots of complexity, with balanced sugar and alcohol'.
This is just one of the wines produced in the strawbale cellars of the farm; port, cider and perry are also produced.
The Food Forest won major awards in the '04 and '05 Wine section of the Gawler Show.
